Day 2 - Ballymoney

My second day in Ireland was quite relax... We left Newtown late afternoon (after Mike had his nap) toward Ballymoney (not sure I'm spelling this right). This is about 40 min south of Newtown. Mike drove the whole way down and I was trying to get my brain adjusted to the 'driving on the wrong side' thing.

I love Edel and Elaine's (Mike's sisters) neighboorhood. It is very close to the sea in a very quiet (summer house) community. We had a nice dinner at Elaine and Steve, spent some fun time with the kids, met Joanne, Mark, Ryan and Will for the first time! Mike has a big family.

In the evening Edel and Elaine brought me to two Irish pub where I had my first Guiness!! 3 full glasses actually :-) I love it. I had car bombs before but never 'pure' Guiness. BTW the Irish don't know what car bombs are...

I love that my trip is starting with some fun family time... I needed the rest!
